He was born in Baños de la Encina (Jaén), starting there his musical studies with D. José Luís Vílchez Martínez. Later he moved to Linares' professional conservatory of music, finishing elementary degree in the piano specialty. Later, he finished middle degree with D. Bernardo Zagalaz Lijarcio, obtaining the maximum qualifications. He finished his studies in saxophone with D. Manuel Ureña Delgado at the Music Conservatoriy of Córdoba, obtaining honorary mention of his degree. He is also University Expert in Music Performance by the International University of Andalusia.
He has attended courses with José Antonio Santos, Manuel Miján, Michel Thomas, Philippe Braquart, Philippe Lecocq, Chritophe Bois, Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle, Alexander Doisy, Gilles Tressos and others. Working continuously with Eric Devallon.
First prize at the Lázaro Rueda Music Contest, held in July 2007. He has taught in the international music courses of Astorga (León), Ronda (Málaga), Beas de Segura (Jaén), Marmolejo, Jaén ), Mancha Real (Jaén), among others. He is invited as a jury in different chamber music competition.
His interest in chamber music has led him to take part in various groups, such as the piano duet with Fernando Pariente and the Spanish guitar duet with Francisco Valencia. He is a founding member of the Prélude saxophone quartet in which he performs an intense concert and pedagogical work. He is also a member of the baritone quartet BariSax Quartet, which was presented at the Saxophone World Congress held in Strasbourg in 2015 (SAXOPEN).
He has been a professor of saxophone at the Astorga Professional Music Conservatory (León), Almendralejo Professional Music Conservatory (Badajoz) and Motril. He is currently professor of saxophone by public exams of the Professional music Conservatory of Linares.
